Covid-19 Statement
The health and safety of our patients, staff and their families are of utmost importance during this time. In accordance with recommendations by the ADA, CDC, and local, state, and federal authorities, our office’s activities are currently limited and we will continue to monitor with you all in mind.
We will be OPEN to take your calls during business hours. If you’re experiencing a dental emergency, please call our office so we can help.
Dental emergencies cases may include: tooth aches, fractured or chipped teeth, facial swellings, and infections. If you believe you may be having a dental emergency, our friendly staff walk you through the best steps to take.
COVID-19 Precautions
Due to the Covid-19 health crisis we are implementing greater steps than our normal, universal precautions concerning disinfection and sterilization in the practice to keep our patients safe. These steps include the following:
- Requesting all patients who are not feeling well to reschedule
- Having patients call to check in when they arrive to the practice before entering the building.
- Screening all patients when they enter the practice with a questionnaire form as well as taking their temperature with a touchless thermometer to check for a fever to help ascertain their risk for having Covid-19.
- We’ve set up a sanitization station before entering the treatment area which includes the use of a mount rinse with 1% hydrogen peroxide – a safe antiviral
- Limiting any chances of patients contacting each other in the practice by having patients wait in their car until it is their turn to be seen. We also request you patients come alone to their appointments. Our goal is to have an empty reception area and to limit the number of patients in the practice at any given time.
- For the time being we will only be allowing the patient in the treatment area. If you require a caregiver for transportation, we ask that the caregiver remains in the car for the duration of the appointment. This also applies to parents of patients being treated.
- We are going above and beyond with surface disinfection throughout the office through the entirety of the day. This will help limit the chances of a patient coming in contact with any contaminated surfaces.
- Our staff will be taking all precautions with PPE including gloves, masks, and other necessary equipment
We believe taking these, and other, steps will help keep our patients safe from contracting Covid-19 at our practice. We want to make sure you as a patient are safe and comfortable in our practice, so if you have any questions or concerns about these policies and procedures please don’t hesitate to call.
